“Effective communication” was my slogan while trialing Venus Fly Trap.
Whenever I felt like being rude or snapping, I had the most vivid imagery of a fly trap clamping down, as if to trap rudeness, and only calm, kind words came out!
I was able to name feelings and state them clearly instead of using them as a weapon.
My husband and I took this together. It brought up old hurts, but gave us the skills to heal and resolve years of discord. It’s really been quite miraculous.
